Torture, Grandma-Style

Anna got a box addressed to her in the mail yesterday. Full of gorgeously wrapped birthday gifts. What's the downside of having a very organized and efficient Grandma?

Gifts you have to stare at for 3 whole weeks before you can open them.

Pure torture.

I love when you post pictures of Anna. She is such a sweetie! I miss seeing her now that Joyschool is over.

Aw, poor Anna! At least she knows she has something to look forward to, though. She is such a cute girl!

No kidding. That wouldn't fly out our house..those puppies would be opened the second they hit the mailbox. And probably by me.

Love the countdown chain! Good luck playing the waiting game.

Amber, your home looks so festive! Such great decorating ideas for Halloween. You'd never know by looking at your home that it's not one of your favorite holidays. :)

I guess it's better than wondering if grandma forgot her. I love the visual countdown for Anna, it makes it so much easier than the abstract "3 weeks" kids don't get.

Has she shaken them yet to try to guess the gift?!? Ooh, a new game maybe?!? ;) Love your countdown chain. What a good idea to help her ease the wait! Does Anna know what kind of cake she's wanting yet?

Oh my. That's tough. :)
But hooray for wonderful grandmas!

I hope you are feeling better. Sounds like you got a really bad bug. :(

If I lived close to you I totally would have brought over some dinner. (Perhaps I will have to get that Kitchen Aid plate)
The ceramic plate is brilliant. Also, my toes are in need of some new color.

How fun to be able to go out with your man! Loved the pictures. It's amazing to me how dedicated so many people are! Next time, please share a picture of a "corn head." :)

Maybe you should approach this birthday more like Hanukkah and open one present a day :-)
