Okay, this means that I will move my 100th post giveaway deadline to Wednesday night (I will draw Thursday morning) because I couldn't wait to share this gem.
I can only guess that they started a new science section in Sam's 1st grade class today because as soon as Sam jumped in the car after school this afternoon he said,
Sam: "Mom, guess what you're made of."
Me: (not wanting to influence AT ALL the schooling I was about to get) "I don't know, Sam. What am I made of?"
Sam: "Matter."
Me: "Wow, Sam, that's right. I am made of matter."
Sam: "Yep. Anna is, too."
Anna must have found this profoundly offensive because she instantly shrieks,
Anna: "No, I'm NOT!"
Me: "Actually, Anna, your brother is right. We are all made of matter."
Anna: "Not me."
Me: "Then what are you made of?"
Anna: "Chocolate."
I'm so glad I asked.

Good girl Anna! You take after my own heart. :D
Out of the mouth of babes...the girl knows what she's talking about, I know that Taylor is made of chocolate-at least 62%.
I don't know why, but that almost made me tear up. The beauty, innocence and creativity of our little ones...I love it! I'm glad you shared this story. :)
That's HILARIOUS! Now there's a girl who has been taught right.
Chery
Actually, I am not surprised that
Anna is made of chocolate. I am
her grandmother, and I am also
made of chocolate. She does look
like me, after all. :)
the mom
Funny. You should ask her what mommy and daddy are made of...
That is a crack-up! I'm with HER!
LOL! I love posts that make me lol;) What a smart little girl. She's just so "Sweet!"
